Lehigh is working on many campus improvements this summer. Projects include ripping up sewer pipes, re-sodding patchy grass, adding more park benches, renovating dorms and improving classrooms. One of the more noticeable changes, however, will be to the area that used to be Library Drive. The road, the last one running through the center of campus, will become a brick-paved, pedestrian-only plaza and walkway. This construction is a continuing effort by Lehigh to make the central campus more pedestrian friendly. Personally, I can't wait to spend my next 2 years enjoying the new plaza, nestled between the picturesque University Center and Linderman Library.
