From the recent Brown and White article on one of Lehigh's newest student bands:
Take a flute, an oboe, a violin, a bass and vocals, and what does that sound like? No, it's not the hallway of Zoellner Arts Center, it's one of Lehigh's newest musical phenomena, The Peeled Labels.
While its instruments are heard more often in classical music, The Peeled Labels' diverse training and original music creates its unique sound. Thrown together by mutual friends and chance, the group has bonded over the music. Before the creation of the comboin September 2010, the band members were strangers. Kwesi Kankam, '11, the band's leader, composer, lead vocal singer and guitarist started The Peeled Labels.
